Forbes sets its sights on Israeli investor and lists him as a business leader in Latin America
Redacción - "One of the most recognized opinion leaders in
Latin America and main Israeli investor in the region", this is how the
renowned North American magazine Forbes catalogued Yossi Abadi, lawyer and
businessman of Israeli origin, who also serves as CEO of the TENLOT Group,
international lottery operator.
Both in Costa Rica and in other countries of the region such as
Guatemala, El Salvador and the Caribbean, the young businessman has stood out
for his investment projects related to social development, accumulating great
reputation and alliances with leaders in the continent. According to the
magazine, Abadi is also promoting strategic businesses in Mexico, Colombia and
Brazil.
In its article, Forbes took the opportunity to highlight the
Israeli businessman for his interest in leading business initiatives that put
the population at the core of his operation.
"There is nothing more sacred than the blessing of being able
to help others. Tikkun Olam, a concept in Judaism that means ´repairing the
world,´ is what guides me day in and day out," Abadi told Forbes.
"Abadi has given a more interesting twist to the lottery
industry, giving a social value and meaning, leading the concept of lotteries
as a platform for development and humanitarian support," the report
highlighted.
In recent years, Abadi has led large social projects, both in
Latin America and in the African continent, adding millions of dollars in
support of health, education, environment, sports and other projects. Many of
the social projects are the result of Israeli innovation and new transformative
technologies created by entrepreneurs in the country that has been called the
"Start-up Nation".
For the entrepreneur, Israel´s technological innovation can be a
source of development and regional economic growth. "Latin Americans, and
in particular young Central Americans, have a great spirit. We just need to
give them a little push and remind them that failure is just another step
towards success," Abadi commented.
"You have to push for an Innovation Technology Center that
will create a community that will promote advancement," Abadi said in his
interview with Forbes magazine. "That will not only add value to the
country that leads and drives it, but also to neighboring nations," he
commented. "It is important to develop a new technological environment in
the heart of the continent. A place that provides the tools, infrastructure and
facilities for future generations," Abadi concluded.
