For his social impact in the region and his strong presence in the
business world, Yossi Abadi, CEO of Grupo TENLOT was named the most recognized
investment leader in Central America by the international magazine Forbes.
In addition, due to his consolidated business activity in other
countries such as Mexico, Colombia and Brazil, the publication highlighted him
as one of the most influential Israeli investors in the entire continent.
Entrepreneurship and betting on new business opportunities are
areas in which his country of origin has experience and which have high
potential in the Central American region, according to the businessman.
"The best component that Central America could import from
Israel is the spirit of entrepreneurship. Israel turned its desert into the
most fertile land and its fears into opportunities, thanks to those who dared
to think differently, to pursue a goal, when others did not believe it was
possible," Yossi Abadi told Forbes.
Under this premise, Abadi is confident that countries such as El
Salvador, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, among others, will
consolidate as nations of great interest for investment.
Therefore, an area of opportunity in these scenarios is to provide
greater legal security to attract more foreign capital.
"What any investor is looking for is legal security for their
investment, especially when their home is more than 13,000 kilometers away.
Latin Americans, and in particular young Central Americans, have a great
spirit. We just need to give them a little push and remind them that failure is
just one more step towards success," added Abadi.
Likewise, to promote technological progress and development in the
continent, in search of new business opportunities in the future, it is crucial
to generate spaces for innovation, the CEO believes.
"We must promote a Technological Innovation Center that will
create a community that promotes progress. That will not only give added value
to the country that leads and promotes it, but also to neighboring nations. It
is important to develop a new technological environment in the heart of the
continent. A place that provides the tools, infrastructure and facilities for
future generations," added the investor.
Through its lottery business, TENLOT Group, led by Yossi Abadi,
has become a platform for development and humanitarian support, seeking to
promote innovation, entrepreneurship and technological development in the
region.
Donations to the health, education and environmental sectors,
among others, are some of the actions carried out by the company for the
benefit of the population.
TENLOT Group was founded by the Israeli businessman Jacob Engel
and its business extends to other sectors such as energy, mining, construction
and new technologies.
